Sony’s CEO And President Confirms Playstation 5, Possible Release Date

As we already know that Xbox One X is coming from Microsoft, and it is set to be the world’s most powerful console, and because of this gamers are wondering if Sony has something up their sleeve as well or not. Is PlayStation 5 coming? What is the release date for PS5?

In an interview, Golem.de asked Shawn Layden, president and CEO of Sony, if PlayStation 4 Pro is a replacement for original PlayStation 4 and that if there will be any game which runs on the PS4 Pro – but no longer on a Playstation 4?

Shawn Layden replied that will never happen, he added that, The Pro is really only to offer advantages such as 4K resolutions and HMD for players who can and want to use that. Add to this a more stable image rate and larger hard disk space.

But people who have a standard PS4 have no real disadvantages. Each of our games will continue to run on the classic PS4 and possibly slightly better on the Pro. Golem.de asked Shawn Layden, if Playstation 5 is coming and whenever that will be? Shawn replied that “Yes. It will probably be some time.” That confirms that it’s just matter of time until they make any announcement about PlayStation 5.

The question is when is PlayStation 5 coming? What is the release date for PlayStation 5? The analysts who predicted the PlayStation 4 Pro and Slim’s release date are predicting that we could see the PlayStation 5 anywhere between 2018 and 2019. according to them the console would arrive in the latter half of 2018.

While speaking to GamingBolt, another analyst Michael Pachter said that, We might need to wait a little longer than we expect. He thinks the Sony PS5 will be a half step and will be backwards compatible with the PS4. According to him we should be seeing PS5 in somewhere around 2019.

He also added,it would make more sense as it would fall in line with predictions for when the 4K TV market in the US will reach 50%. “I think Sony has probably got the next console cycle lined up already”, he says, “I think they already know what they’ve got to do.”

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Is Coming In 2018? The Game Is Returning Back To The Present Day

Call of Duty 2018 is looks like it’s going to be set in Modern Era, but what is it Call of Duty Black Ops 4 or something completely new?

Countless gamers are always looking for clues of upcoming games and most of them end up spreading false news, voice actors and developers are highly unreliable but one thing that’s really reliable, it’s the job listing, since they aren’t there to fool anyone.

Based on Treyarch’s job listings the next Call of Duty game, which is coming out in 2018 is going to be set in the Modern Era or somewhat close to it.

At least that’s what we can say based on the Job listings, they mentioned the fllowing:

– Combat design experience on a AAA competitive shooter.

– Previous design experience owning entire categories of gameplay content both at the moment to moment and systems level.

– Deep knowledge base of firearms and modern military technology.

– Prestige 1 or above in Black Ops 3 Multiplayer.

Look at the third one, “Deep knowledge base of firearms and modern military technology.”

Each of the Call Of Duty developers works on a three year cycle, so it’s Treyarch’s turn to make the next call of duty game in 2018 and they have never failed us, hopefully they won’t fail us this time either!
