The Tournament of Power is about to reach its most intense moment yet, when our Universe 7’s Goku will be clashing against Universe 11’s Jiren, in what has been described as the clash of clashes. We’ve all been waiting so long for this to happen, and we’ve been so hyped for this.
Even Toei Animation themselves started promoting this fight a long time ago, and it has build out excitement even more. Goku has tried to fight Jiren before as well, but there have always been interruptions. But now, there won’t be any more interruptions, as the one-hour special that will showcase this fight is closer than ever.
Goku will apparently break his limits in this fight. He’s been saving his stamina to fight the beasts of the Tournament of Power so far, and that’s worked well for him. He’s defeated so many with a fraction of his power, and he also went blue but only a few times. However, Super Saiyan just won’t cut it vs Jiren.
He is going to use Super Saiyan Blue, and stack it with Kaio-ken. From the preview, it was clear that Goku was about to use Kaio-ken x20 against Jiren, and even though that’s a whole new power level even fire Goku, we do know that it is not going to be enough. Goku with SSB and Kaio-ken x20 is said to be no match for Jiren. So, his next strategy would be the Spirit Bomb, which is one of his strongest moves.
Actually, this is where things get interesting. Goku will need energy to create the Spirit Bomb, and for that matter, he will need the members of Universe 7 team to give him energy.
But, is that even okay going by the rules of the Tournament of Power? We’ve already seen that Zeno decides anything can be considered fair, if it’s “neat”. But, what if he decides against letting people give energy to Goku.
They’ll receive the same treatment as Frost, and will be erased on the spot, because they will technically be interfering with the Tournament of Power. We also know that a “bad” thing is supposed to happen before Goku gets his new form.
This could be it. If Goku’s U7 team gets erased, he might rage over it, and that’s how he will attain his new form. Now, obviously, until we see what’s actually happening we won’t know for sure, but I think it’s nice to go ahead and put your ideas out in the open.
So, if you have any ideas of your own, you can let me know in the comments section below.
The Tournament of Power is currently going on, and a total of 8 Universes are taking part in it, which include U2, U3, U4, U6, U7, U9, U10 and U11. From these 8 U9, and U10 got erased, so we’ve already seen two losing sides at the Tournament of Power as of now.
We’re left with Six Universes right now, and it doesn’t look too good because we know for a fact that only one will survive. In my opinion, it is either going to be Universe 7, or Universe 6 that will ultimately win the Tournament of Power, but that’s something I don’t want to discuss in this post.
Four Universes didn’t take part in the Tournament of Power, and one will emerge victorious after the Tournament, which makes a total of five Universes remaining.
