Fans all over the World were treated to fantastic news as Toei released pictures of Goku’s new transformation. The most circulated picture shows Goku’s back to the camera while surrounded by white ki, similar to that seen in Gohan’s mystic form. In other pictures released with Goku facing the camera, you can see that his eyes are white.
Dragon Ball experts all over the internet are speculating over how Goku achieves this form, and one commonality shared with most is Goku can’t get this one on his own. Many speculators cite previous transformations as evidence. SSj3 was the furthest Goku could go his own Ki, and SSJB was the furthest he could go with God Ki. And when Goku combined Kaioken with SSJB for too long he lost control of his ki for a few episodes.
Regardless of how its achieved, Dragon Ball Power power scaling buffs have speculated that this form would be nearly double that of SSJG. Placing this transformation’s power above that of even Beerus. If it is true, that Jiren is the only mortal to ever beat Beerus in an arm wrestling match, then Goku may have to exceed Beerus’s power to beat Jiren.
If this is true, could this be the form that Beerus original envisioned at the beginning of DBS? If we look back to episode one of the series we can see that the outline of the character is too obscure for us to easily make that distinction, but two things are clear. In the initial vision the stature of the character is definitely more beefy and the hair is different than Goku’s original SSJG transformation.
We were also shown that SSJG was no match for Beerus and Earth was really only spared thanks to its delicious food. One thing that has definitely flown under the radar for most is ask is why would Whis train Goku and Vegeta to turn SSJB. A belief often shared is Whis is bored, another that Whis really likes the food on Earth and wanted to keep Vegeta around so Bulma would keep showing him food.
But what if Whis is training Goku and Vegeta to be possible airs to the God of Destruction position. It’s something Whis has been joking about since episode 16, when he mentioned Vegeta one day could become a God of Destruction. Hearing that now makes us wonder if he was actually joking. Whis also must have suspected that Universe 7 would be up for erasure considering Beerus had been asleep for so long, and that Frieza has been out of commission for many years.
If Whis really suspected this, could this also be motivation for training Goku and Vegeta? Could Whis could have also known a Universal tournament a possibility? Could he also have known this through some Angel insider information? Could Goku or Vegeta have been racing to be God’s of destructions of new Universes that will be created post Universal Tournament of Power Arc?
Many of you may deny this possibility thanks to the good heart of Goku. However, look in to the eyes of this new transformation. Unlike all the other Super Saiyan transformations in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super there is something primal about this one. It’s something only elsewhere seen in the eyes of the SSJ4 transformation of Dragon Ball GT.
Something that Goku repeated many times during his SSJ4 transformation is he tends to lose control at this power. If you want to cite GT as non canon and therefore non evident, than I’ll raise you Goku’s first time he went SSJ1.
In his first moments of experiencing SSJ1, he tells Gohan to get out of area “Before I loose what little sense of reason I have left.” Also, when Vegeta first tells the story of the Super Saiyan, he says about the first Super Saiyan that “His power was extraordinary, he had no equal in the Universe.” and that “In the end, he was destroyed by his own power.”
If Vegeta knew who Beerus was as a child, wouldn’t that also mean he’d know that even SSJ1 would be no match for him? So would that mean that Vegeta knew that there would be a power out there to obtain that he knows Goku hasn’t even come close to yet? Would this also add to his motivation to always be stronger?
From digging through our findings we can conclude it’s possible that Goku’s new form will cause him to lose control. Filling him with so much rage and power that he may kill Beerus, whether it be during the Universe Survival Arc, or at another time.
Maybe, Vegeta will also discover this new form and maybe, Vegeta will once again return to villain-hood, and thats when Beerus will loose his life.
Or maybe this form is so powerful that Goku kills the Grand Priest, or even the Zenos. This perhaps making Goku the new Omniking… This last one is very unlikely, but it sure would be a nice surprise.
Ever since the Goku Black/Future Trunks Arc when Goku Black and Zamasu told Goku and the other’s that they themselves single handedly killed the God’s of Destruction there has been many questions left unexplained and debate surrounding this. In this Article I’m going to give you all some insight as to what may of happened in Trunks’s Future with the God’s of Destruction, the Angel’s, the Supreme Kai’s and the Great Priest himself.
Now one of the biggest questions in all of this craziness that was the Goku Black/Trunks Arc was “What happened with the Great Priest when Future Zeno came to the current Timeline?”. Did the Great Priest just carry on business as usual? Did he take over for Zeno? Happen to go on Vacation? Well seeing how the Great Priest is Zeno’s attendant just like how Whis is Beerus’s attendant, normally when an attendant is no longer needed the attendant or Angel just sort of leaves.
They don’t die, they don’t hang around carrying out the day. Angel’s when not needed they hang out in a separate place from any other existence which only Angel’s can go too. Is it possible the Great Priest went there after Zeno left? Seeing how the Great Priest is the original Angel and attendant that gave life to the other Angel’s that attend to the God’s of Destruction it’s pretty safe to say he can choose what he wanted to do when no longer needed, possibly waiting for the next Zeno to come in to creation.
On to what probably had the biggest controversy in debates within the Dragon Ball Community was “How did the God’s of Destruction die?” and “What happened to the Supreme Kai’s?” well I got some very bad news for you all. All the Supreme Kai’s were killed before the God’s of Destruction were! If we look at our Universe or even Universe 10 as an example for this. Our Supreme Kai and Universe 10’s Gowasu stayed in there own world what was referred to as the “World of the Kai”. Knowing that, that would mean that the Supreme Kai’s are completely vulnerable to an attack by any Entity that can get there, like another Kai – Zamasu and Goku Black.
As Whis mentioned to Goku in the series, if you want to kill a God of Destruction, just kill the Supreme Kai for the Universe and that Universes God of Destruction will automatically die. Even tho Zamasu was immortal and Goku Black were incredibly strong as we saw in Universe 7 we saw how much more stronger a God of Destruction is then Zamasu. The only way they could of killed all the God’s of Destruction is to kill their Supreme Kai’s.
