The Real Reason Why Goku used SSG instead of Blue in DBS EP 104

Since his first fight with Beerus in Battle of Gods/Super, Goku hasn’t used the Super Saiyan God transformation. Many people were wondering whats the reason for Goku to transform into Super Saiyan God and why till now its made its return. For anyone wondering if Super Saiyan God is stronger than Super Saiyan Blue well that’s not the case Super Saiyan Blue is superior to Super Saiyan God.

Hit and goku team

It’s been long confirmed in Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 13 during the Universe 7 vs Universe 6 tournament when Goku first uses the Super Saiyan God form against Universe 6’s assasain Hit, with Vegeta saying “Kakarot you jerk, you’re still trying to save energy for the blue form even at a time like this.” Meaning Goku is saving the rest of his energy for Super Saiyan Blue later on. Yes Super Saiyan Blue drains alot of Stamina from the user, even Whis knew about this problem stating “That form is something you can only use a few times in a single day, it consumes too much energy.”

Vegeta does this same thing in chapter 22 of the manga when he is fighting Black. Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan God to fight Super Saiyan Rose Black in which Black says to Vegeta that form is a downgraded super saiyan form, indicating Black even knew that Super Saiyan God is inferior to Super Saiyan Blue. Also in the chapter Trunks asks Goku what form did Vegeta just transform into, responding to Trunks telling him that’s Super Saiyan God the form before Super Saiyan Blue even explaining to him more in details the difference between the two in terms of power. Goku tells Trunks that Super Saiyan Blue has enormous power but the problem with that form is it drains too much stamina you cant fight in that form for too long.

As for Super Saiyan God the form is well balanced it doesnt consume as much stamina as Blue does. After this is said Trunks asks Goku if God form is before Blue then why is Vegeta using God form against Black, in which Goku tells Trunks to look closer at what Vegeta i actually doing. Vegeta is switching back and fourth from Super Saiyan God to Super Saiayn Blue everytime Vegeta hits Black he turns Blue and switches back to God and so on letting Vegeta not waste as much stamina.

Vegeta SSG by rmehed

Now what does all this have to do with why Goku brought Super Saiyan God back it’s simple really Super Saiyan God doesnt waste as much Stamina as Super Saiyan Blue does. This helps Goku especially in the Tournmanet of Power with dealing with fast opponets such as Dyspo and others also helps Goku save Blue for a later occasion when he has to fight stronger opponents such as Hit or Jiren.

Also lets not forget Super Saiyan God probably has the ability to recover heal up Goku just like when Beerus stabbed Goku in the chest. It’s not 100% confirmed Super Saiyan God can do this but who knows probably later on we will have a confirmation as to whether it can have this ability or not

Now Super Saiyan God is a great form but just like the rest of the Super Saiyan forms it does have it’s pros and cons it is infierior to Super Saiyan Blue. Goku is saving Blue for later on but like Whis said the form is meant to be used a few times through out the day.

Well let me know what you guys think and your guys opinions in all this. This is my first article on this so i hope alot of you enjoy this and more to come.

Top 10 Last Surviving Fighters in Tournament Of Power

The Universe survival tournament is heating up as a few of the universes have already been eliminated, as well as many of those remaining having lost many fighters. What may be the biggest surprise is Universe 11. Thus far hyped up to be the biggest threat, already down to only three fighters left. Can Universe 7 survive the likes of Hit or Jiren?

Here’s how we made our choices for the top 10 last surviving ighters.

First, We Examined Dragon Ball Super’s current introduction:

This one is the most blatantly obvious, Goku and Jiren going at it through out. So it may be safe to assume that Goku and Jiren will be among the last few remaining, possibly the last two remaining contestants. This however, has mislead us before, Buu was displayed as a contestant up until we found out he fell asleep. Leading animators to add Frieza in the current iteration. Will writer’s fool us again?

Second, We Examined Dragon Ball Super’s current outro:

In the first splash of characters we see Ganos from Universe 4, Hit, Cabba, Kaulifa, Kale and Frost from Universe 6, and Jirasen from Universe 10.

In the next splash, we see 3 rows of characters. Many of which have been eliminated. First row is mainly the robots of Universe 3. The next row is filled with the likes of Universe 2. And the Top row has the remaining fighters from Universe 11. Following the character profiles, a close up of Universe 11’s 3 remaining fighters Toppo, Jiren and Dyspo.

After this, Jiren’s eyes light up to a flash transition which brings us to Universe 7’s fighters on what seems to be a planet. Included in this group is Krillin, so it seems to be after the tournament. Piccolo seems to give a grin in this screen shot as well, so that may be hinting something.

Lastly, Gohan and Goku fly up together towards an opponent. What some have wondered is, who could this opponent be, and why isnt Vegeta in this paired with Goku? Haven’t the writers already established Vegeta is much stronger than Gohan?

Third, We Examined what has happened thus far in the tournament:

In the tournament thus far, we know that Jiren can one shot a raging Kale, who easily walked through a Kamehameha by an SSJB Goku. We also know that both Jiren and Toppo have been doing a lot of energy conservation for the first 10 minutes of the tournament. Something most fighters don’t have the luxury of doing.

Universe 11 wise, I think it’s safe to say that both Toppo and Jiren will be among the last few standing. Dyspo will have to somehow be able to beat Hit or U7’s best fighters to keep his spot.

Universe 6 wise Kale and Kaulifa seem to be worn out. Cabba has yet to even surpass ssj1, and Mageta doesnt have Botamo any more to cover his ears. There are the two other mystery fighters who have yet to show, but an appearance is unlikely. That leaves Frost and Hit. Unless Frost magically learns a golden form, he can’t compete with the likes of U7 and U11. That leaves Hit.

Universe 4 seems to be all tricksters, with their most featured fighter unable to compete with base form Goku. It’s likely U4 will all be knocked out come episode 105.
